What is collected
- Email address, when you sign up for a free guide, a bonus, or the reader list.
- First name and a shipping address, only when you request a free printed copy of a book. The address is used to ship that copy and for nothing else.
- Basic visit data from cookies and pixels on some pages (see "Advertising" below).
What it is used for
- Sending you the guide, bonus or copy you asked for.
- Occasional emails from Philippe about new books, early copies and related material. A few a year, not a newsletter schedule.
- Replying when you write in.
Your details are never sold, rented or shared with other authors or advertisers.
Services that handle your data
- Kit (kit.com) stores the reader list and sends list emails.
- Google Gmail is used for personal replies and for the one-to-one emails about free copies.
- Zapier connects some sign-up forms to those emails.
- Amazon is used to order and ship printed copies to the address you give.
- Cloudflare hosts this site.
Each of these handles data under its own privacy policy.
Advertising
Some pages on this site are reached from ads on Facebook and Instagram. Those pages carry the Meta Pixel, which sets a cookie and tells Meta that the page was visited and that a request form was completed. It does not pass Meta your name, email or address. You can limit this in your browser's cookie settings and in your Facebook ad preferences.
Unsubscribing and removal
- Every list email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click, no questions.
- To have your email, name or address deleted entirely, write to [email protected] and it will be removed from the list and the shipping records.
Children
This site and its books are for adults. No data is knowingly collected from anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
